Since early last year GN firstly designed
the drilling cuttings solidification unit, one year has passed and GNGH Series
drilling cuttings solidification unit has been developed for the 3rd
design based on the clients’ request and the end user’s valuable feedbacks and
tips. Now comparing with the 1st design, this new set of GNGH-15A
Solidification unit has a doubled treating capacity and more human oriented
modifications.

Working Procedure of GNGH-15A
Solidification Unit:
The GNGH solidification unit is designed
for final treatment of the drilling cuttings discharged from the drilling waste
management system, in fact, the solidification unit itself belongs to the waste
management system too. Although the cuttings from the High-G dryer
GNZS594HGE-LD, GNCD930D vertical cuttings dryer or the GNLW363CG-VFD Decanter
centrifuge are already dry, they are still active. By adding and mixing the
absorber and some other material like cement with the drilling cuttings, the
active components could become inactive and are suitable for being discharged
or buried locally.
Besides being used for drilling cuttings,
some clients are using GNGH solidification unit for mud tank cleaning work and
by changing the input ratio of cement, absorber and slurry, it could reach a
good result.
Features of GNGH-15A Solidification Unit:
GNGH-15A Solidification unit has 3 VFD controls,
respectively for drilling cuttings feeding, and for the 2 absorbers’ feedings,
it enables the operators to adjust the adding ratio easily and quickly. The 2
hoppers are double sized comparing with previous model and there’s a platform
for the workers to add absorber easily. The 2 absorber hoppers could be used at
same time or separately per jobsite condition.
