Hydrocyclones can be construct of metal (mostly steel), ceramic or plastic (such as polyurethane, polypropylene). Metal or ceramic hydrocyclones are used for situations that requiring more strength, or durability in terms of heats and/ or pressure. When there is an occurrence of much abrasion (such as occurs with sand particles) polyurethane performs better than metals or ceramics. Metal lined with polyurethane is used in cases of combined abrasion and high pressure.

An Intro of ZJ70D mud recycling system

Regarding to ZJ 70D (2000 Hp) system, this mud recycling system has 8 tanks for solids control. Today, let’s provide you with the brief introduction from what we should finish before.

1. #5 Tanks:

Five tanks are really a weighting and premixing tank. Its 2 separated compartments: one compartment is weighting compartment, with the level of 52 m3 and efficient volume 36.4 m3. The first is heavy mud compartment, whose volume is 34m3 and efficient volume is 23.8 m3.

4. Trip tank


You will find 1 group of mud agitator (15kw), 1 group of mud guns and a pair of teams of feeding pumps installed on this trip tank. The level of this tank is 20 m3, as the effective volume is 14 m3.
