Totally 4 value packs of desander mud clean with 2 10inch desander cone and double veranda shale shaker GNZS705, 5 sets of desilter magnetic cleaner with 10pcs 4inch desilter cones with two times deck shale shaker, eight sets of GNLW452 decanter centrifuge with 18inch serving diameter, 1800rpm speed, 7 sets of centrifugal pushes to feed for the desander, desilter, 8 sets regarding feeding pump for the decanter centrifuges. 8 sets connected with 20ft container to install typically the equipments on it and with memory space.

Centrifugal pump is the most widely used mud transferring equipment. This type pump uses tungsten carbide mechanical seal, with open design of impeller that lowers the axial thrust load. Centrifugal pump could be used as feeding pump for de-sander and de-silter cyclone unit. For some deep drilling project, the mud system need a trip tank, this type pump can also be used as trip pump. The jet mud mixer unit always equipped with centrifugal pump as mud mixing pump to transfer chemicals into the drilling mud.

Shearing pump is also always equipped with mud hopper. With the impeller material of high wear resistant cast iron, the shearing pump is used to shear the polymers that used in the drilling mud to keep proper mud specific gravity. GN’s shearing pump is available as a belt-driven or diesel-driven package including hopper, mud gun and transfer line orifice plate.
GN’s PD pump is a single screw pump. This pump is an ideal chosen for feeding to decanter centrifuge unit as it transfer the drilling mud without shearing and agitating. This pump, with stator material of elastomeric material, has particular advantages to transfer fluids of high viscosity and hard suspended particles included.

Vertical submersible slurry pump is another choice as feeding pump to centrifuge. This pump is always installed vertically to transfer medium with high concentration particles. Submersible pump is also widely used to transfer the mud from mud pit to the shale shaker in the HDD mud recycling system.

Dewatering System for Water Hammer

Not only drilling, whenever there is a construction work, or some work, there must be some waste generated, planning before proceed have been more and more important. Some clients who is using water hammer, also is going to do with the waste, and reuse the water.
As we all know there are 4 basic rules of waste handling to make it envronmental friendly. Reduce, reuse, recycle, recover. For water hammer, one of the most important reason is we need to recyle and reuse the clean water.
Reuse – solids control equipment is key to the reuse strategy.  Poor solids control efficiencies will lead to more solids entering the active system, further reducing their particle size, and ultimately resulting in the requirement to dump, or to dilute, thereby increasing volumes and costs, all of which have a negative environmental impact. 
The water hammer which is normally more expensive than the normal drilling rig, especially for the use of the water, not drinking water but need to be as clean as possible.

Therefor now we are deliverying one system to Europe, which is used for water hammer project. Containing:
1) Double deck shale shaker: GN double deck shale shaker can remove the solids in very good performance, top section screen with sieve screens remove most of the big particles. 

2) Decanter centrifuge: GN decanter centrifuge is used to remove the fine solids, min separation points about 2-5microns. Sometimes it need to be used with polymer, the dewatering unit, to make sure we get the better result.

3) Screw pump: screw pump feed for centrifuge. The pump from GN is made by German Netsch, NEMO pump makes sure the performance of centrifuge feeding.

4) Mud tank skid: All equipment is mounted on one mud tank, which is also able to be customized. Normally minimum requirement is to lower the transportation cost.

GN Own Brand Shaker Screen used on GNZS Series Shale Shaker

GN Solids Control is an API certified manufacture for drilling mud solids control equipment. No doubt, the shale shaker unit is one of the most important equipment in our production line, in the meanwhile, shale shaker is the most important primary solids control equipment that takes place in the role of separating the coarse solids in the drilling mud as the first stage solids control equipment.
The function of shale shaker to separate the solids should give credit to the mesh screen fixing on the shale shaker unit. By using different mesh screen, the shale shake unit could do separation process on different slurry. From the shale shaker model, we can find some hints of the dimension of the screen. The screen used of the shaker model 752 is 750x900mm. This shale shaker is widely used in some small capacity no dig drilling project and core drilling solids removal unit. Thus, this shaker model is also baby shaker. The shaker 703 is fixed with screen dimension of 700x1250mm; this shaker model is widely used in oil drilling and some big capacity HDD project. Based on the model GNZS703, GN does have the shaker model GNZS706 with 2 layers shaker deck, and 6 pieces screen fixed. And the GNZS705 model is often used as underflow shaker for a mud cleaner unit to further dry the solids discharged from cyclone units. While the shaker model GNZS594 is fixed 4 pcs screen with dimension of 585x1165mm. This model could be used as a primary shaker in solids control system, and it can also be used as high G force drying shaker in waste cuttings drying system. What we need do is to use two high power vibrators.

Principle And Theory Of Centrifuge Operation

The centrifuge workds with an principle of accelerated settling , centrifuge G force will help solisd settling much quicker . Let’s think about a simple sedimentation vessel to understand it’s working principle , the solids in fluids will settle to bottom of the sedimentation vessel by a period of time later . All solids can have a detrimental effect on the drilling fluids viscosity . That means a low specific gravity solids will has an equivalent spherical diameter that is 1.6 times that of a barite solids and settle at the same rate as the barite particle .
