Decanter centrifuge is main equipment in GN’s
production line. Based on the most popular model 14 inch decanter centrifuge
used in oil and gas solids control system, GN developed several models decanter
centrifuge that could be used for different applications.
GN’s 9 inch decanter
centrifuge model of GNLW223 is bowl diameter of 9 inch and the designed
capacity is 6 cubic meters. With a high working speed up to 3800rpm, this model
is always used for fine solids removal. As it has small capacity, it is often
used in diamond core drilling for geology research and some other mining
projects.
GN’s 14 inch centrifuge is widely used in
solids control system and waste
waste management system. GN uses material of SS2205 as the bowl material
for a better dynamic balance. The protection of screw propeller is using bolted
tungsten carbide tiles thickness of 4mm for longer lifetime. This model is both
fixed speed and VFD model for customer’s option. Low speed used in traditional
solids control for barite recovery and high speed model used for ultra fine
solids separation and waste cutting management.
GN’s 18 inch decanter centrifuge is mainly
in Mud Cleaning
System system for barite recovery, it has a relative low speed of 2000rpm
that is the best speed for this job. GN has two configurations for this 18 inch
centrifuge with different material, speed and driving method. Economic type is
especially for the customers who want to save on the equipment cost.
GN’s 22 inch decanter centrifuge has
designed normal capacity of 90 cubic meters, which is an ideal choice for large
flow rate project. One of GN
solids control ’s 22 inch centrifuge unit ever been used in dewatering unit
for flocculated fine solids separation. The long bowl can provide a long time
for separation for a better expected result.
GN’s decanter centrifuges are always
assembled with other equipment like shale shaker
units or cuttings dryer unit to become a modular system for multi-function
